Books

Here are some great books to read with other women in order to encourage each other’s discipleship:

Choosing Rest: Cultivating a Sunday Heart in a Monday World by Sally Breedlove

The Crosswicks Journal, Books 1-4 by Madeleine L’Engle

Faithful Women and Their Extraordinary God by Noel Piper

Feminine Appeal: Seven Virtues of a Godly Wife and Mother by Carolyn Mahaney

One Thousand Gifts: Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are by Ann Voskamp

  1. Feminine Appeal changed my view on life… It’s been a couple of years, so it’s probably time for another read. One Thousand Gifts was truly one of the best gifts I’ve ever been given. I made myself read it in small sittings to make it last longer and to make sure I had time to ponder. Great list!
