A little about me. My name is Lindsay Powell Fooshee and I seek to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I’ve been walking with Jesus for over 30 years now, hopefully resembling Him more now than I did when He drew me to Himself around the age of 8. My hope is in the gospel of Jesus, for my eternal salvation as well as living out my day-to-day life.
I am wife to John, who serves Jesus as a leadership coach, helping launch non-profit leaders into their ministries. You can find out more about his ministry at People Launching.
I am mom to 4 great kiddos, ranging in age from elementary school to 20-somethings. Plus one amazing daughter-in-law who beautifully rounds out our family of seven.
I am a graduate of King College, where I earned a BA in English with a minor in Bible & Religion. I also completed an MA in Christian Thought at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. I am so grateful for my education and for the many professors and classmates who have invested in me over the years.
During the school day you can find me focusing on the discipleship of 4th-6th graders at Oak City Academy in Raleigh, NC. If I end up with any free time, I’m predictably tucked in the corner of my couch with a novel and cup of strong black tea. Or a glass of wine. Depending on the clock.
Enough about me. I would love to hear from you. Ideally, I’d offer you a seat on my kitchen stool and have a face-to-face conversation. But if that’s not possible, feel free to contact me here:
