Great read

If you’re studying Mark along with those of us at Redeemer, we’ve made it through the first half of the book.  I am really enjoying taking a close look at Jesus through Mark’s fast-paced storytelling.

If you’re looking for a great accompaniment to Mark, or just looking for a good read in general, I highly recommend Tim Keller’s King’s Cross: The Story of the World in the Life of Jesus. Wow. It’s an excellent commentary on the highlights of Mark as well as vintage Keller. Enjoy!

We’ll be taking a break from our Mark study over the holidays and resuming in January. Got any suggestions for a good Advent read?

  1. We like Jotham’s Journey & Bartholomew’s Passage. There is also one in the series about Tabitha. I haven’t gotten my hands on that one but would love to if any of you have it & aren’t reading it this Advent season.
